To be honest, I don't know! The stag was under a tree, but where I was standing was extremely wet! I have some other photos of doe's taken at the same time and you can see the rain. I don't very often take my camera out in weather like that, but it started raining when we were there and the oportunity was too good to miss. Not many other people were out and about, so the deer were close to the path.
So was I Bart!!! Turned out it must have been as camera is still ok! Yes, I was lucky. Only because it was raining, no one was out and about. Usually the deer are no where near the paths.

I don't see any rain drops! Did the noise reduction take them away?

By the way, apart from cropping this a little and brightening it slightly as it was an extremely grey day, I haven't done anything else to it.
Great capture, you where very lucky, I am sure he is wondering whether the camera is weather sealed or not :)
