This is the holy Mountain Kailash and part of the Kora. The Kailash lies in East Tibet and the place shown above is the place during the "Kora" where you leave a personal Item for . The Kora around the Kailash is one of the most difficult Pilgrim trails in the Worlds. Its 52KM long and at the highest point 5660m - some are even dying..... Anyway I left a Olympus UKPSG Card there.

I've done a hell lot and some awesome photos during my 3,5 Week Trek throughout Tibet (2500km driving, 3 Jeeps, Sherpas, Guides ...everything). At the Moment I'm preparing all photos and the a A4+ Photo-book and some Large Prints A3+ as well as slideshow (incl some small HD videos made with a Pen). Depending on the final quality I might do a small exhibition.

Glad the forecast downpour stayed away and the sun even graced us with its presence even if only fleetingly.

Particular thanks to Ghene and Simon for letting me borrow their macro lenses to try on the EP-1 :-) - think most of my favourite images from the day were with the Sigma 150mm Macro which I am trying hard now to justify laying out the cash for! Also took a few with my ancient Canon FD 50 F1.8 lens which I've had since I was 13 and I'm still amazed at how good it is today considering it was the basic "kit" lens of its time.
