General Impression - responsiveness.

This camera is a very capable tool - very much like an E-620 in a 'right sized' package. The 12 shot raw buffer makes semi continuous shooting possible... you should never find yourself waiting for the camera to catch up with you.

Speed of operating is essential, and the E-P1 certainly performs well. I'm confident that once I've become familiar with the User Interface I will be able to operate the camera very quickly to get what I want.

Hi Brian,

You say that the rear LCD screen refresh is fast, but just how fast? Can it be considered to be real-time, or is there noticeable lag and stutter?

Keep up the good work :-)

Hi Rob,

the screen is plenty fast enough for framing... however there does seem to be some kind of auto-exposure stop down of the lens aperture going on - when the camera moves from a bright to dark area transition.

I've tried selecting Manual exposure mode but this occasional stutter still occurs. Strange.

Cheers

Brian

I read somewhere that the front element of the kit zoom lens rotates during focusing, can you please confirm if this is so or not. Thanks!
