Experience Diaries... mZD 9-18 and mZD 14-150
Friday, June 18, 2010 at 12:21PM Hello everyone,
I am delighted to report that Olympus UK have supplied me with production level copies of these two new lenses for m4/3rds.
Please follow the links below for experience diaries on mu-43.com, which I co-administrate with Amin Sabet.
mZD 14-150mm f4-5.6 Experience Diary
mZD 9-18mm f4-5.6 Experience Diary
Just to let you know, that I'll be inviting Olympus Photo Safari Group members out for events in the Peak District and perhaps some City shooting in the near future to gather your impressions first hand, and feedback to Olympus on the E-P1, E-P2 and E-PL1 with these lenses.
Cheers

Give us plenty of notice for your planned dated for the events, so I can try and make arrangement to come up north.

Hi Brian,
Glad to hear you have got one of these lenses and I'd certainly be interested in any "hands on" shooting days with it, especially in London although I'd be happy to come to the Peak District if it was at a weekend and I can make the date. I have been following yours and others' threads on mu-43.com about this lens and it really looks great, especially for its tiny size.
Please let us know when you're going to do the workshops!
Huh? Still alive? Or just mu-43.com.

Thanks Caroline, I'll set up some dates for the Peak District and e-mail them soon... been doing lots of walking to find some great areas!
Tim, have you seen our Photo A Day archive? I'm certainly alive and more active than ever!
Cheers
Brian
Hi Brian,
It's just the picture I'm getting. No emails incl reply's , no real news, really old post, old inside news, announcements, no updates to the site... or any Oly UK (inside) news for CAP. Even Roel was questioning what's going on..... you really don't know what's going with UKPSG- esp in regards to events, workshops, big or main UK /EU Events.
For now I'm still busy with my Tibet Stuff and its still way to go with sorting, editing, printing, photo-book....... Some awesome shots taken.

I'll check my e-mails Tim - I'm sorry if I've missed any... I've been extremely busy building a community for m4/3rds users as co-administrator on mu-43.com since Christmas, so haven't made the time to organise events for the UKPSG, but I have been doing research on photographic locations in the Peak District - so as I mentioned in my last e-mail to the group, I'll be proposing events over the next few months.
You can see some of the locations in my PAD set, which I've been building for the last 128 days!
Cheers
Brian
I have agree with Tim as has not been much happening with UKSPG for some time.
A lot of people I think miss the bigger monthly events, such as Game Fair, Triathlon etc.
The larger monthly events got the numbers together and a good social day was had.
I think the last time a large number got together was Duxford last year.
mu-43 appears to be getting more time spent on it than UKSPG
PAD project has been good for my photography but has become disappointing as I'm the only person still doing each day.
I will do 90 days
There are some very strong photographers in the group and it is shame more are not joining in.
