Local Olympus Photo Safari Groups Launched

Hello everyone,

as our membership continues to grow worldwide (over 730 Olympus Safari Group members, and an additional 1050+ report subscribers)... it's becoming more and more likely that there are a number of keen Olympus photographers in your area who would like to meet fellow enthusiasts.

Since getting out and shooting together is such a great way to learn and share experience, it's a core reason for the success of our group.

We're trying to find a way to make this easier, in a safe and optional manner for all of our members worldwide.

Thanks to the tremendous response we've had from our members all over the world, we now have over 40 Local Safari Groups, each having their own discussion page to help coordinate local events.

Please check to see if we have a group in your area, by clicking on the following link, and zooming in to your area.
UK/Europe...

USA/Canada...

Australia...

If you don't yet have a local group, and would like to find fellow Olympus Safari Group members in your area please let us know, and we will create a group near to you.

Thank you, for your kind support of this idea... we're one big step closer to having a free worldwide support network for Olympus photographers

Kind Regards

Brian

As a new member to the group (became aware of it's existence at Focus Show), I'd like to test the water regarding a meet of members in the Cardiff group area. I am aware of two others within this catchment and understand there are also a few others. I don't know what others thoughts are regarding this ideal, but feel that without members getting to know each other the group is going nowhere, we are simply a number of individuals doing our own thing.

So I'm suggesting to members in the Cardiff catchment area, let's get together introduce ourselves to each other and try and make the group work for our own benefit.

My location is Rhondda but am able to travel for a meet.
