Olympus UKPSG - We're on Fire!
Monday, July 21, 2008 at 03:01PM Hello everyone,
there are so many events being proposed now, by
Olympus UK Photo Safari Group members, that the whole of the UK is
lighting up with exciting events!
I would just like to thank the many Safari Group
members who are giving their time and enthusiasm to meeting new
members, and hosting local events all over the UK... it's only a matter
of time until our International Safari Group members catch the bug, and our worldwide events begin to blossom!

..and for Safari Group members, each event is moved to the Events Log, which will become a reference to exciting photographic locations throughout the UK over the coming weeks, months and years. We're using these events also, to create special Safari Group reports for our subscribers here :

Our new Safari Group Events Map Goes Live!
Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 02:55PM Hello everyone,
we are pleased to announce that our Safari Group Events Map is now live... and over the next few days and weeks, Safari Group members will begin to post meeting points / events where people can join the group and meet with their local Safari Group Contact...
Olympus UK Photo Safari Events
You'll notice that I've also added a quick link "Events Map" on the bottom of the Navigation menu to the left.
We're just getting this going right now, but when everyone is comfortable posting events, we expect the group to expand dramatically!
I have also enabled the Upcoming Events section, to allow members to post their events - which will allow us to register our interest in attending... you can see how this works by clicking on the event title on any of the events posted on the Events Map.
A huge thanks to all of the Safari Group Contacts who have suggested mini-events so far... this will make a massive difference to the quantity, quality and localisation of Safari Group events. Please attend the events near to you if you possibly can!
Kind Regards
Brian
